Nothing says VACATION like having your own private chef prepare and serve a fabulous meal on the farm for you and your guests. Now that you have reserved your stay on the farm, it’s time to plan and treat yourself to this exclusive service.
Below you will find information on what to expect, guidelines for a successful experience and introductions to our chef. We encourage you to fill out the questionaire and decide on what is the best match for you.

Chef Mat Chapman is a dedicated culinarian whose passion for hospitality runs deep. With over a decade of hands-on experience in the restaurant industry, he brings both creative excellence and heartfelt service to every plate he serves.
A graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas with a degree in Culinary Arts, Mat’s career began at Whole Foods Market, where he developed a global perspective on food and honed his technique using high-quality, seasonal ingredients. He went on to refine his craft at the acclaimed Barcelona Wine Bar, known for its vibrant, chef-driven Spanish tapas and energetic, guest-centered dining experience.
His signature style—refined Southern cuisine elevated with modern technique—has earned praise for its balance of comfort and creativity. From elegant vegan entrées to soulful classics with a twist, Chef Mat brings both skill and soul to his menus.
Most recently, Mat served as Executive Chef and General Manager at Old Ox Brewery, where he helped transform the space from a simple tasting room into a full-scale hospitality destination. Now, as Executive Chef of PORCH + VINE, he is leading the culinary vision for our new upscale supper club—focused on ingredient-forward dishes, immersive dining experiences, and unforgettable moments for every guest.
Mat is not just a chef—he’s a storyteller, a host, and a leader. Whether he’s crafting a multi-course vegan tasting menu or a family-style dinner under the stars, his goal is always the same: to delight, surprise, and make people feel truly cared for.
What to Expect -
I typically arrive 2hrs before discussed dinner time to start preparing the meal.
I ask if the kitchen & dining room table are cleaned before arrival to ensure on time service.
I set the table & wash dishes in between courses.
